Accessibility
This site is built so that everyone can use it.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have built in
- You can reach everything with a keyboard, with a clear focus outline and a link to skip to the main content.
- Every page has a logical heading order and works with screen readers.
- Text and buttons meet AA colour contrast, and the site works at 200% zoom and on small screens.
- Moving graphics have a pause button, and they stay still if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Book pictures have text descriptions. The moving background is decorative and hidden from screen readers.
Known limits
The wording on the book covers is part of the picture. The important details are repeated as text on each book page. Amazon's pages are outside our control.
Tell us about a problem
If something is hard to use, email Drew@TGCH.uk and tell us which page you were on. We will try to fix it.
